We’ve put together a bill of astounding NYC underground music stalwarts that will kick your Tuesday into a Saturday. It’s early (for you old fucks), but it will be raucous (for the wild fucks)!

WHARTON TIERS – Joining us on this special bill is The Wharton Tiers Ensemble (video) with many guitars, a wall of sound and Tiers’ enjoyably-forceful drumming. Wharton is a veteran of the NYC underground music scene having played with Theoretical Girls and Laurie Anderson. He’s produced notable acts such as (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Helmet, Swans and Glenn Branca among many others).

MARTIN BISI – Also on the bill is Martin BisiMartin is also, a New York performer and record producer, has been at a crossroads of indie, punk, avant garde, noire/cabaret rock, and electronic music since the early 80’s in New York City.

At a recording studio he started in 1981 with the help of Brian Eno, Martin Bisi has realized albums by Sonic Youth, Swans, Dresden Dolls, Cop Shoot Cop, John Zorn, Material/Bill Laswell, Boredoms,  Foetus, Helmet, Unsane, Jon Spencer’s Boss Hog, and countless other indie, experimental and post-punk records.

SECRET NUMBERS – A greatly-anticipated debut by Secret Numbers! Secret Numbers emerged fully formed from a scalding lake at the bottom of an African volcano in 2014. Guitarist/vocalist Paul Richard, ex-hardcore legends, AOD and The Killer Kowalskis, among others, is a professional taxidermist, specializing in mutant amphibians; guitarist Dante Inferno moonlights as chupacabra impersonator; renowned bassist Gerard Smith, of the mighty post-punk power trio Phantom Tollbooth, owns the world’s sixth-largest collection of bobbleheads; and drummer Brett Yskamp likes sunsets, pets, and long walks on the beach. The music of Secret Numbers is loud, fast, aggressive and strange. It will make you order another drink.
